Gerrard and Curran go Ibiza, Lewandowski hits the shops with Szczesny and Lukaku rides waves in Spain
After a long, gruelling season, the world of football will now be able to kick back and enjoy a long, hot summer as the game's brightest stars head off on their holidays.
STEVEN GERRARD
The season has been all over at Liverpool for nearly a month now, but it's proving a little difficult for Steven Gerrard to get out of the football mindset as he relaxed in Ibiza. The Anfield skipper soaked up the island sun just off the Mediterranean Sea, but still felt the need to stick to some form of club uniform as he wore red shorts similar to the ones he is normally seen playing in for the Merseyside club. Also with the England captain on the beach was recently retired and former Liverpool team-mate Jamie Carragher, who was more keen to stay under the shade.
Gerrard's wife, Alex Curran was also with the 33-year-old, as she relaxed with friends nearby while smoking a cigarette with blue tinted aviator sunglasses

After walking through the city in a pair of shorts and a plain white T-shirt with Stachurska, who won bronze at the karate World Cup, Lewandowski was then pictured meeting up with Poland team-mate Wojciech Szczesny in a shop.

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI
Robert Lewandowski looked relaxed as he strolled through his hometown of Warsaw with his fiancee Anna Stachurska. The Borussia Dortmund hitman made the trip to his native Poland after a busy season with the deposed German champions.

ROMELU LUKAKU
The big Belgian has been keeping us updated while on his jollies by regularly posting photographs on his Instagram account. He's been up to everything from organising football matches with fans, jet skiing in the sea and lounging about in the swimming pool.
The 20-year-old forward, who scored 17 Premier League goals last season with the Baggies, reached out to his Instagram followers by offering them the chance to mix it with his 'boys' in a game of football. He posted: 'Special announcement!!! For the ones who want to play me and my boys? We will be at this pitch at 6′o clock with my boys its in UD san pedro marbella see you there ;-)' Lukaku, who is on holiday with his 18-year-old brother Jordan, an Anderlecht defender, may have proved tough opposition for those who did turn up in San Pedro.
