Nigerian rapper Nicole Chikwe, with stage name, Naeto C, and his wife are now proud parents as the couple on Monday welcomed their first child. Nicole, who has been in theUnited States of America (USA) for some days now, was delivered of a baby boy. Both the mother and the child are doing well. The couple married in July 2012 in Lagos, Nigeria. In his words: “Thanks 2 every1 for all the messages…words arent honestly enuff to express this moment…its ironic especially for some1 like myself who is used 2 putting words 2gether…mayb later…but right now i’m just Thanking God w/my Family and enjoying my son’s company! I wish u all similar moments at some point(s) in your lives!”

The Houston Chronicle reports that former Houston High School teacher Kahtanna Culp, 29, allegedly told the principal at Northbrook High School about her relationship with the student after he tried to blackmail her for money to keep quiet about it. The allegations were first made in December, but the story made headlines this week after she was charged with having an improper relationship with a student on March 19. "She said she wanted to end it, but the boy did not want to and had threatened to go public with the information unless she paid him money," according to police documents obtained by the Chronicle. The now 19-year-old said the relationship lasted between March 2012 until November 2012 of his senior year, according to KHOU. He also said Culp used to have kids as young as 14 come over to her home where she'd supply them with marijuana and alcohol. The Houston Press reached out to Culp's attorney who said his client denies all the allegations.

A foreigner has been kidnapped in Nigeria’s largest city of Lagos, the US consulate said on Sunday, in an alert to American citizens in the city. The Consulate however did not provide the identity of the foreigner kidnapped and his nationality. “The US Consulate General in Lagos received a report that an expatriate was kidnapped on Victoria Island on Saturday, March 23 at approximately 11 pm,” the consulate spokeswoman said in a message to US citizens, referring to an upscale area of Lagos. “Local Nigerian law enforcement confirmed this incident.” Police in Lagos, the economic capital of some 15 million people located in the country’s southwest, could not be reached for comment. Olubunmi Oke of NTA was kidnapped by unknown gunmen last night It was gathered this morning that the reporter was kidnapped on Thursday night by four gunmen at her Oba-Ile residence in the Akure area of Ondo State. She was said to have been whisked away shortly after she drove into her residence after closing from work. Her whereabouts is still unknow Sahara Reporters are making effort to contact the police in Ondo and other authorities in the state over the incident.
