The on-going strike by Academic Staff Union of Universities in Nigeria is entering its third month. Hera are suggestions of a few things students can do to make good use of the time the strike offers;    Get a Job : Funny, strange and odd as this may sound, it is the best thing for a student to do; to gather on-the-job experience, especially in a field related to their course of study.    Learn a skill : Learning is a continuos process, and the ASUU strike offers a wise student enough time to learn a new skill that can serve as a source of alternative income.    Start an enterprise - Some students had already discovered themselves before or during campus life, the period of the strike is a good time for them to live their dreams and practice what they had learnt, if not to earn income, but at least to keep them busy.    Read Books - Books are embodiments of the writer’s experience and thoughts.
